Psoriasis
Adults with plaque-type psoriasis, moderate to severe disease, may be eligible for studies using biologics and other new topical and oral therapies.
Eczema / Atopic Dermatitis
Studies are open to subjects of all ages, from as young as 3 months of age. Treatments include a variety of topical therapies.
Onychomycosis (fungal infection of the toenails)
Adults with toenail fungus (identified visually by discoloration of the nail, increased nail thickness, and debris under the nail) may qualify to participate in a study where the toenails are treated with standard oral therapy and a novel nail lacquer.
Fungal Skin and Scalp Infections
Studies are available for adults with fungal skin and scalp infections (e.g., tinea capitis) using topical or oral therapies.
Chronic Hand Dermatitis
Adults with chronic hand dermatitis may be eligible to participate in a study using a novel oral therapy.
Melasma
A study is available for adults who have darkened areas of skin or patches of darker skin on the face. This condition is called melasma. The study uses a standard topical therapy for the treatment of skin discolorations and hyperpigmentation.
Skin Cancer: Basal Cell Carcinoma
Individuals who have skin cancer may be eligible to participate in a study using an experimental topical therapy. |
